Edfinancial Services is transitioning to a new loan servicing platform which will allow us to provide an even better customer experience. We will remain in contact with our customers throughout this process to provide important updates to your account. One-Time Student Loan Cancellation

Courts have issued orders blocking student debt relief. The Biden-Harris Administration is seeking to overturn those orders. For the latest information regarding the status of student debt relief, visit StudentAid.gov.

COVID-19 Updates

The student loan payment pause is extended until the U.S. Department of Education is permitted to implement the debt relief program or the litigation is resolved. Payments will restart 60 days later. If the debt relief program has not been implemented and the litigation has not been resolved by June 30, 2023 – payments will resume 60 days after that. We will notify borrowers before payments restart.

One-Time Student Loan Cancellation

Self-Certify for IDR

You may be eligible for an income driven repayment plan and potentially reduce your monthly payment amount to as low as $0. Income documentation is currently not required. Once you have created your new online account at Edfinancial.com/MyAccount look for the “Apply Now”.

Auto Pay

By selecting the Auto Pay option, your payments will be automatically debited each month from your designated checking or savings account. This option allows for convenient and timely payments without the hassle of mailing your payment or remembering to pay online each month.

To register for Auto Pay, log into your online account. If you have never accessed your account online, you will first need to create a username and password.

Edfinancial Services will debit your bank account on your due date or, if your due date falls on a weekend or a holiday, on the first business day after your due date. Your payment will be posted to your student loan account within three to five business days and will be made effective for your due date.

Pay Online

Log into your online account to submit a one-time or recurring payment for your student loan account. You can also sign up for Auto Pay, where your payments will be automatically debited from your designated bank account each month. For online payments submitted through Manage My Account, payments submitted after 4:00 pm ET are credited as of the next business day. You may also submit an online payment for a date no more than 30 days in the future.

Once you receive notification that your loan has transferred to our new servicing system, please be sure to register for a new online account at Edfinancial.com/MyAccount. On our new servicing system, online payments submitted as of 11:59 pm ET are credited the same day. You may also submit an online payment for a date no more than 60 days in the future.

Bill Pay Service

If you make your student loan payments through your bank or another online bill pay service, please ensure your service is updated with the correct account number and payment address. You will be able to find your account number and payment address on your billing statement or by logging into your online account.

Please note that payments sent to Edfinancial Services at the incorrect addresses may be redirected. Redirected payments will NOT post until the payment is received at the correct address. This means that your payment may be posted late.

Pay By Mail

If you make your payment each month by mailing a check or money order, please make sure your name, account number and correct payment amount is listed. Also, be sure to mail your payment several days prior to your due date to ensure that it is received on time. Your payment will be made effective for the date it was received. Save a stamp and be paper free by considering one of the online or electronic payment methods. You can also register to receive electronic statements and other correspondence through your online account.

Important: To avoid significant delays, it is very important to mail your payments to the correct address. Your payment mailing address may be different, depending on your loan program. Please check your billing statement, log into your online account, or contact us to get the correct payment mailing address for your loans.

Co-signer Options

Pay By Mail

You may make a payment by sending a check or money order through the mail. Please see the “Pay by Mail” section on this page or visit our Contact Us page for our payment address.

You can direct payments (including partial payments) to individual loans. In order to direct your payment to an individual loan(s), please include instructions with your payment specifying how you would like the payment allocated.

Pay Online as an Authorized Payer

The borrower of the loan for which you cosigned can authorize you to make payments on your loans through our online borrower portal, Manage My Account. The borrower will provide us with your email address, and then they will create a username and password for you. We will email you instructions on how to submit a payment, and you can contact the borrower to receive your username and password.

If you have co-signed for multiple loans, you may target your payments to a specific loan(s).

Note

We are transitioning our federally-owned loans to a new loan servicing platform. If the loan you co-signed for is a federally-owned student loan (the account number started with an F), once the loan has been moved to the new system, Authorized Payer logins will no longer be an option.

You may call our toll-free number, which is found on our Contact Us page, and speak with a representative to make your payment during our normal business hours.

If you have co-signed for multiple loans, you may target your payments to a specific loan(s).

Auto Pay

Never miss a payment! When you sign up for Auto Pay, your payment is automatically processed from the bank account of your choice. Plus, you could even save 0.25% on your interest rate!
